Turnouts for the new Micro-Track have been high on the list of requests from Z users, and Micro-Trains is tentatively looking at a Spring 2006 release date for these new turnouts. Micro-Trains was kind enough to provide Ztrains with some pre-production photographs, and we will bring you additional information just as soon as more accurate details become available.

The turnout section photos you see here appear to be off-white in color, this is due to the fact they are pre-production, prototype photos. The final pieces will of course match the color of the entire Micro-Track line.

Thanks to Joe D'Amato, Design Engineer at Micro-Trains, for providing these prototype photos. For additional information, Joe can be reached via email at:

TimeCast, Historic Miniatures

TimeCast of Shrewsbury, England produces a series of dedicated Z scale, as well as many 6mm, historically accurate European and North American structures that are reasonably priced... and very good.

The thumbnail photo above is actually one of their 6mm scenes with a Marklin box car in the photo for reference. Looks good from here!.

From the Napoleonic era to the fields of Gettysburg to WWII era Germany... TimeCast covers quite a lot of ground.
