These Art Deco inspired bridge abutments were designed for the Micron-Art brass Truss bridges, but will work with any Z scale bridge. They feature scale accurate 8" wide concrete forming boards.
Each individual concrete forming board has been laid in by hand for a very realistic texture. Quarter round forms are placed in the corners to highlight the Art Deco style. A very mild concave curve has been added to the lower one-third face of the abutments to add an additional bit of flavor to these pieces. All of our gypsum pieces are now given a light coat of white acrylic primer on their face side. This is being done thanks to customer feedback and allows for greater control when painting and weathering.
Details: Overall abutment size is 2-1/2" wide from wing to wing and 1-3/4 high from base to track level.
